  1. AARP 6-Hour Smart Driver Class

    April 17, 2018, 1:30 PM - April 18, 2018, 4:30 PM @ Marathon Senior Center

    A six-hour driver refresher course geared for drivers aged 50 and older, but open to drivers of any age, is being offered over two days on Monday, April 16 from 1:30-4:30 and Tuesday, April 17 from 1:30-4:30. Participants are encouraged to bring your AARP Membership Card and a sweater or jacket. This course is approved by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles for points and insurance reduction. Class may be rescheduled due to lack of registrations, and walk-ins might be turned away. This class is sponsored by AARP, the Cortland County Health Department, the Cortland County Area Agency on Aging, and the Cortland County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

  2. CCHS Lunch & learn: "Sean M. Walsh K9 Memorial Foundation"

    April 18, 2018, 12:00 PM @ 25 Homer Avenue

    Sharon McNeil, East Coast Director for Sean's K9s, will be talking about Sean's K9s and their mission as well as why a K9 unit is a valuable asset to a community. Officer Nathan Moran and his partner, K9 Officer Rush, will also be there to answer any questions about K9s and their role on the force. Come meet and greet Officer Moran and and K9 Officer Rush! Bring your won lunch if you wish, and we will provide dessert and beverages.
