WHY SHOULD YOU LICENSE YOUR DOG(S)?

The NYS Agriculture & Markets Law Article 7 relates to the licensing, identification and control of dogs and the animal population control program in New York State.

Most importantly, licensing your beloved dog(s) gives you, as the owner, peace of mind if for any reason your dog is ever lost, stolen or injured. Local agencies would be able to identify your pet, contact you and return them back to you and your family.
