$50,000 for Tioughnioga River Trail Project
Secretary of State Randy A. Daniels visited Yaman Park in the City of Cortland to present a ceremonial check to City of Cortland Mayor Mary Leonard and Linda Dickerson Hartsock, Executive Director of the Cortland County BDC for $50,000 in Environmental Protection Fund funding for preparation of an intermunicipal Local Waterfront Revitalization Program along the Tioughnioga River.
"The Tioughnioga River Trail project has captured the imaginations and won the enthusiastic support of the people of Cortland and of the greater Cortland community, said Mayor Leonard. "This is a fine example of the benefits that flow from partnerships and cooperation amongst the City, and the villages and towns of Cortland County. We appreciate the State's recognizing and supporting this effort through the Environmental Protection Fund grant."
