Rotary 2003 Pride of Workmanship Award

James Sponaugle, the City's Director and Building and Grounds and Safety Coordinator received recognition for his outstanding work for the City, including the time he volunteers for City events such as the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Pumpkin Festival. The award recognizes individuals for job competence, punctuality, consistency of effort, interest and enthusiasm, initiative to work, independently, the maintenance of a pleasant yet businesslike relationship with coworkers and customers, and for doing their job right the first time. Mr. Sponaugles's wife, Mayor Mary Leonard, Director of Administration and Finance Director Andrew Damiano and Police Chief Nichols were in attendance at the May 13 ceremony support Mr. Sponaugle.
