Digital Fingerprinting

The Cortland Police Department will be offering digital fingerprinting as part of the National Child Identification Program, at the East End Center on Wednesday, October 26, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A spokesperson from the department is advising parents who are interested in having their children fingerprinted, to pick up the personal information sheet in advance to expedite the process on the 26th.

The personal identification sheets are available at the City Police Department (25 Court St), and the Cortland Youth Bureau (35 Port Watson St). This service is free of charge. Funding for the National Child Identification Program was provided by: the Cortland Elks Lodge 748, McNeil & Company Insurance and Risk Service, and the Cortland Rotary Breakfast Club.
