Cortland City Parks

The following parks are open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily:

Beaudry (Scammell St.)
Courthouse (Church St. and Greenbush St.)
Dexter (Elm St.)
Randall (Randall St.)
Suggett (Homer Ave. and Madison St.)
Yaman (Kennedy Pkwy.)

Basketball Courts

Beaudry Park - 2 courts
Suggett Park - 2 courts
Dexter Park - 1 court
Yaman Park - 1/2 court

Skateboarding

Located at Yaman Park. Supervised hours. For more information visit our Skateboard Park home page.

Free Swimming Facilities

Located at C. C. Wickwire Pool at Suggett Park and Yaman Beach.

Tennis Facilities

Four lighted courts at Randall Park and two courts at Dexter Park. Court times are 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily with a one hour time limit per court for playing time.

Reservations: Picnic Facilities, Buildings & Fields

Reservations must be completed for picnic facilities, buildings, fields and the showmobile by filling out the reservation forms at the Cortland Youth Bureau office. Download Reservation Form now.

For your outdoor event, consider one of the Youth Bureau’s picnic facilities:

Yaman Park, Suggett Park Shelters:
• Accommodate 100 – 150 people
• Equipped with tables, grills and rest room facilities
• Prices for shelters and building rentals are $50.00

Dexter Park, Beaudry Park, and cabanas at Yaman Park:
• Smaller Shelters
• Used on first-come, first serve basis

Organized leagues and tournaments have first preference in the use of ball fields. There is a cost for field reservation for benefit games.

Yaman Park Bus Fee: $40.00 – entrance park
(Cortland City Schools are exempt)

Gym Reservations at County Office Building

Located off Greenbush Street, this facility is available for recreational use mainly basketball and volleyball. Reservations must be made through the City Youth Bureau office by responsible individuals at least 21 years of age. Prices are as follows:

$20.00 for a 2 hour slot
$25.00 for advance reservation
