A driver refresher course geared for drivers aged 50 and over, but open to drivers of any age, is being offered from 9:00 - 4:00 (with a 1-hour lunch break). This course is approved by the N.Y.S. Department of Motor Vehicles for points and insurance reduction. Participants are encouraged to bring a sweater or jacket and your AARP Membership card for a discount on the class fee.

Dr. Ralph Dudgeon, retired SUNY Cortland professor and international performer on trumpet joins Paulette Fry, organist in a concert of music for the the "Instrument of Kings" with the "King of Instruments." The Church Street Brass joins the duo for a tribute to African-American spirituals.

Come join us! And meet with others who are also coping with caregiving issues. The Caregivers Support Group meets monthly, every 4th Thursday. (Except November we will meet the 5th Thursday). Open to those who provide care and support for a loved one, friend or neighbor who is 60 or older. We meet at the Cortland Regional Medical Center Basement, conference room B, from 3-4 PM. *Walk-ins are welcome. *Sponsored by the Cortland County Area Agency of Aging.

Hop on the bus for a day of art and nature. Leaving from Cortland at 7am, this one day bus trip takes participants to the Norman Rockwell Museum and the Berkshire Botanical Garden. Take advantage of this great opportunity to see the museum, which features the world's Largent and most significant collection of Rockwell art. Participant will also visit one of the oldest public display gardens in the region, and have the chance to explore 15 acres if paths, blending intimate landscapes with seasonal palettes.
